We’re honoured to share that Mikata Health’s Mika AI Scribe has been selected as one of pre-qualified vendors for Canada Health Infoway’s AI Scribe Program, a national initiative helping primary care clinicians across Canada reduce administrative burden and improve documentation through AI- powered tools.

As a trusted solution provider, we are proud to support this national effort to strengthen primary care by giving clinicians more time for patients, reducing burnout, and improving the quality and efficiency of care.

The AI Scribe Program will provide up to 10,000 fully funded, one-year licenses to eligible primary care clinicians, including:

• Family physicians
• Nurse practitioners
• Registered nurses in remote communities
• Pediatricians providing longitudinal, community-based care

Our Mika AI Scribe solution was selected through a rigorous national procurement process for its alignment with clinical usability, interoperability, and pan-Canadian data standards, ensuring it meets the real needs of today and tomorrow’s care settings.

The program is officially opening to clinicians in June 2025. Primary care clinicians wanting to learn more can sign up to access the latest resources and be among the first notified when enrollment opens.
